How do we get over break ups - as there is so many websites about how to get over the man you thought was perfect beyond belief.

Basically, I can't give you the ultimate pain relief for the heartache you feel- I can only give you advice. So I have devised a set of FAQs for break ups. Don't take my advice to every detail- interpret it your own way!

BUT I WAS SURE (S)HE WAS THE ONE?

The ultimate question, to be honest it depends upon what sort of break up you've had. A big one where you're completely not talking; The one where it's awkward with each other; The one where you're at each other's throats; the one where you'll most likely get together or even the one where you're still sexually active. There's many more but after a break up it is best to leave it for a few days and not return until you are sure that you can make a friendship out of your break up. I wouldn't even argue, I'd message a friend, let them bitch like hell about the guy/girl and just calm down and take each second as it comes.

WHAT IF (S)HE'S ALREADY MOVING ON TO SOMEONE ELSE?

Evidence has been found that we all want to disregard our previous feelings and maybe a rebound relationship helps them do that. Although it may hurt you like hell, the best is to ignore it and if they try to bring it up - tell them you really don't need that shit.

I'M ALONE

Most likely you are NOT under ANY circumstance alone. I thought I had no friends, then this week I've had people looking after me and checking if I'm okay:-) even been having snapchat conversations which have really cheered me up. Chances are, out there, there are people who care about you - just don't push them away!

I know from first hand experience how hard it is, I've lost my first love on Monday and I'm pretty down. And I think he's out on the prowl again but then with the help of some new and old friends - I'm ignoring it.

Please. Don't worry, chances are that someone else will soon fix those broken pieces. And if not? Well there's always Ben+Jerries <3
